Bucks Creek 1102 Phases 1.1 AND 1.2 (Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. PLU-61993-R2)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLU-61993-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, for the project applicant, Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Titled Bucks Creek 1102 Phases 1.1 and 1.2, the project involves the use of horizontal directional drilling to install conduits under seven culvert crossings associated with seasonal or year-round natural streams or springs. This work is located within the road prism of Caribou Road in Plumas County, California, adjacent to the East Branch North Fork Feather River, spanning from latitude 40.02257, longitude -121.21714 to latitude 40.06714, longitude -121.18113. The primary objective is to facilitate the undergrounding of an electrical power transmission cable that was destroyed during the Dixie Fire. The project is classified under NAICS code 237130 and is designated as exempt under California Code of Regulations title 14, sections 15302 and 15304, due to the replacement of existing infrastructure and the minimal environmental disturbance caused by the drilling method.
