Full Description

The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking quotes to build and install 24 foot bed on Transport Truck Chassis in accordance with specifications provided. Bed includes D-Rings, Cross Box Storage, Side Storage, Bulkhead Assembly, Tractor Stops and Loading Ramp. The bed must be constructed new, unused and affixed to 2015/2016 Truck Chassis that will be provided by the government. Truck Chassis will be delivered and picked up at the manufacturer's location. Construction must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, supervision, transportation, materials, tools and other incidentals to execute all work necessary to build and install Truck Bed. A copy of warranty and manufacturers specifications shall be included with your quote. Bed Assembly shall be warrantied against failure under normal use for a minimum of two years from the date of acceptance by the government. Individual components shall be warranted by their manufacture and provided with your quote. The period of performance for the build and install is 30 days. This quote is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336212. The Small Business Administration size standard in the number of employees is 500. All offerors who submit a quote for this requirement must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database and must have completed Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) in accordance with FAR 52.204-8. Offerors who fail to register in SAM and/or complete ORCA will not be considered for award. Registration can be done via the internet at http://www.sam.gov . Payment for work performed will be through the U.S Treasury (Invoice Processing Platform IPP). The RFQ Number is AG-447U-S-15-0044. RFQ package and any applicable amendments can be downloaded at www.fbo.gov. Quotes are due not later than August 14, 2015.
