Description of goods to services to be bid: The Build-Ready Program advances renewable energy projects on underutilized land, such as brownfields, landfills, and abandoned or existing commercial and industrial sites. Working with local partners and stakeholders, the Build-Ready Program identifies and de-risks projects by carrying out design, engineering, environmental, permitting, and electric grid interconnection activities as well as developing project host community benefit packages. The Build-Ready Program runs competitive solicitations to transfer projects to renewable energy developers for final design, financing, construction, ownership, and operation. While NYSERDA Build-Ready Program has focused primarily on large scale renewable (LSR) and bulk stand-alone battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, Build-Ready has operated opportunistically in the origination and early development of DG solar PV projects on Build-Ready site types.
