Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) has a requirement for the building maintenance services in the Embassy of Canada in Tunis (Tunisia), as described in the Statement of Work (Annex A).The future Contractor will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance operations and will provide various services in accordance with requirements, calling on internal or external experts to proceed with repairs or obtain the required quotes and specialized material. The Contractor will be responsible for the maintenance of the central HVAC system, split air-conditioning system, emergency power supply, power distribution system, uninterruptible power supply, emergency lighting, CDI alarm system, portable extinguishers, plumbing and water pumps, sprinkler system and any other various repair and maintenance work.The contract period will be for 3 firm years plus 2 optional years and the contract start date is tentatively set for 01 December 2022. There are security requirements associated with this requirement. Bidder’s personnel that will be performing work at the mission premises, must obtain a valid personnel security screening level of RELIABILITY STATUS to be issued by Canadian security authorities.Closing date: 2:00 PM EDT (Ottawa, Ontario time) on November 11, 2022.
