This instant action is for the authority to add an additional 5-month ordering period in accordance with FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract into existing Requirements Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) FA8504-17-D-0002. Terms of FAR 52.217-8 will be utilized, as necessary to extend task/delivery orders up to the 6 month limitation. Approval of this request will result in issuance of contract modification to incorporate option to allow for continuation of services while the follow-on contract is in process for award by AFLCMC/LPS, Tink AFB, OK> This contract extension will prevent any lapse in coverage and enable transition to the follow-on contract. The 5-month option will use the current pricing arrangement of Firm Fixed Price (FFP).
