C--A/E Construction Administration Services

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Contracting and General Services in Shepherdstown, WV intends to award a purchase order to Oak Point Associates at 231 Main Street, Suite 201 Biddeford, ME 04005 for construction administrative services. The Architect-Engineer (A-E) shall provide Construction Administration (Title III) Services to designs and construction documents previously developed by the A-E. Specifically, this pertains the following design task orders: Museum Archives and Domestic Water Heater and HX Replacements. The intent of the Services is to complement the NCTC Engineering staff and Contracting Officer¿s Representative efforts by having the design firm of record handle key technical submittal reviews and provide construction inspections as applicable. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability for this requirement by responding to this announcement. All proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
