Tiny Home
Solicitation # W911S227U0094
Solicitation W911S227U0094 is a Total Small Business Set-Aside Request for Quotation issued by the Department of Defense for the procurement and installation of prebuilt modular tiny homes for personnel housing at Fort Drum, New York. This requirement is classified as a commercial supply purchase rather than a construction project. The contractor is responsible for the delivery, setup, leveling, anchoring, and placement into service of units that must be at least 480 square feet and capable of accommodating four occupants. The scope of work includes connecting the homes to existing government-constructed concrete pads and site utilities, specifically water, sanitary sewer, electrical, and natural gas. The modular homes must be designed for year-round, four-season occupancy in Upstate New York, featuring HVAC systems capable of operating at -25 degrees Fahrenheit to protect plumbing and wet-pipe fire sprinkler systems. A critical requirement is the provision of a comprehensive fire suppression system designed and certified by a licensed Fire Protection Engineer with at least five years of experience. The government may make multiple awards based on price and technical evaluations, and offerors are encouraged to submit quotations for multiple compliant models. All quotes must be submitted via the PIEE Solicitation module, and only new equipment will be accepted.
