Cajalco Communication Site License Agreement with City of Corona

The County of Riverside, through its Facilities Management department, has entered into a five-year License Agreement with the City of Corona for the use of tower space at the Cajalco Communication Site. Located in Corona, California, at Assessor Parcel Number 278-150-005, the site is operated for the benefit of Public Safety Enterprise Communications. The agreement allows the City of Corona to utilize the existing tower space for its communication needs provided that such use does not interfere with other tenants, including PSEC. This collaboration is intended to enhance public safety for the local community. Under the California Environmental Quality Act, the project is classified as the letting of property involving existing facilities. Because there is no substantial expansion of the facility and no increase in the overall use of the site, the project has been granted a Notice of Exemption under CEQA Guidelines Sections 15301 and 15061(b)(3). No significant direct or indirect physical environmental impacts are anticipated. Administrative oversight is managed by Facilities Operations Manager Mike Sullivan, and the project is identified by number FM047166004900.
