Bid #071201: The selected contractor for this Project shall perform work to efficiently remove and/or install new pavement markings, and remove and/or install roadside signs and posts as noted in the attached “markup” (Exhibit 1). Work shall be performed with minimal disruption to regular traffic flow. Appropriate permits and submittals shall be procured and submitted to the City for approval. All pavement markings shall follow CAMUTCD details. The project will improve pedestrian safety, create additional parking and comply with new state laws - Assembly Bill No. 413. Work includes layout of traffic stripes and pavement markings, implementation of traffic control, surface cleaning, application of paint/thermoplastic at specified thickness, and repair of any damage to newly placed stripes. Roadside sign work includes salvaging, removing, and replacing signs and posts according to Caltrans standards and Marin County Uniform Construction Standards.
