LETTING LOCATION: 1074 Hwy 90 Chipley POSTING DATES: 10/29/2026 and 11/12/2026 CONTRACT DAYS: CONTRACT EXECUTION DAYS: 10 SPECIAL START DATE: N/A ACQUIS./FLEXIBLE START TIME: 15 Days The work under this Work Document-Driven Contract consists of providing Maintenance of Traffic personnel and devices on a call out basis, for work activities coordinated by the Department to include providing flaggers, installing vehicular and pedestrian traffic control devices, furnishing, installing, and actively maintaining traffic control on limited access and primary roads in Gadsden and Leon Counties. Work activities requiring an emergency response may also be required. All work will be on a call out basis, authorized by Work Document. The budget estimate for this contract is $45,000.00 The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. A Proposal Guaranty will not be required on indefinite quantity contracts, such as work document driven contracts, with a Departments advertised estimate amount of $150,000 or less regardless of the bid amount.
