The Seeley Lake North and South project on Montana Highway 83 spans two non-contiguous sections within Missoula County, covering from accumulated mileage 0.006 to 4.846 in the south and from 13.127 to 31.562 in the north, with a middle segment excluded. The scope includes comprehensive pavement preservation and rehabilitation measures across the entire project length, such as mastic crack filling and crack sealing outside designated mill and digout zones, full width cold milling and asphalt overlay in three specific segments, and full width seal and cover with a fog seal applied throughout. A full depth replacement of asphalt and base course is required in a short section from 4.165 to 4.205, and new pavement markings will be installed across the entire corridor. Sinusoidal centerline rumble strips are to be placed exclusively within mill and fill or digout areas, and fog seal will also be applied to two locations on the shared use path. The project is advertised under solicitation number 08826 by the Montana Department of Transportation, with a posted date and response deadline both set for August 27, 2026.
