Calloway Canal Lining: 7th Standard Road To 8-1 Canal

Bid #NK 625: The project involves concrete lining of approximately 6,700 linear feet of the Calloway Canal, extending from 7th Standard Road to the 8-1 Canal. Key work items include subgrade preparation, fill relocation, compaction, and grading for the canal section, along with the concrete lining. It also entails constructing a new 55-foot wide reinforced concrete canal gate structure (with District-provided gates), installing approximately 3,300 square feet of reinforced canal lining around four existing structures, and removing/replacing an existing canal turnout with a District-provided structure and HDPE pipeline. Additionally, an existing turnout structure and pipeline within the canal section will be removed and disposed of. The project aims to conserve water and improve water management, with an expected annual water savings of 2,366 acre-feet.
