The Board of Education of Calvert County, Prince Frederick, MD, is soliciting proposals from pre-qualified Contractors to provide bids for the Elevator, Window, and Roof Replacement at the Brooks Administration Building located at 1305 Dares Beach Road Prince Frederick, Maryland 20678.Bid Documents will be made available beginning on Friday, 30 October, 2026. The Invitation for Bids, including the bid specifications, drawings, and any addenda or clarifications to the bid documents are posted online at eMaryland Marketplace.Please note that all bidders must be prequalified. The Contractor’s Qualification Questionnaire can be found online at  www.calvertnet.k12.md.us  and following the tabs: "Departments, Planning and Construction, Planning and Construction Forms”.  Completed qualification questionnaires are due no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, 20 November, 2026 and shall be submitted electronically or hardcopy mailed to Ms. Stephanie Sydnor, Planning and Construction Specialist, Calvert County Public Schools, 1305 Dares Beach Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678, contact@example.gov ITB package is free, and vendors are encouraged to download the package online from eMaryland Marketplace.  The package can also be provided upon written request via electronic mail to Mr. Sheldon Taylor at contact@example.gov pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, 12 November, 2026, 10:00 am, at the Brooks Administration Building located at 1305 Dares Beach Road Prince Frederick, Maryland 20678. Questions related to the Bid Documents will not be answered at the pre-bid meeting.Any  pre-bid  or  Bid  Document  question  shall  be  submitted  via  electronic  mail  to contact@example.gov, with the subject line “PSC #L04FBOE.27 LC | BROOKS ADMINISTRATION BUILDING - ELEVATOR, WINDOW, AND ROOF REPLACEMENT. All questionsmust be submitted no later 4:00 pm on Monday, 23 November, 2026.While this Project does not have a minimum percentage participation goal for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) participation, Calvert County Public Schools encourages all Certified MBE contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to respond to this solicitation notice.Sealed bids will be received until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, 15 December, 2026. Immediately followingthe submission deadline, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.In the event of inclement weather on the date when bids are scheduled to be opened and the CCPS administrative offices are closed, bids will be opened on the next business day at the same time as previously scheduled.
