Campuswide Door Hardware & Security System Repairs

California State University, Channel Islands is seeking to implement the Campuswide Door Hardware and Security System Repairs project in Camarillo, California. The scope of work involves replacing hardware on up to 121 existing doors across academic buildings and installing 12 additional cameras within one academic building to enhance overall safety and security. The project is limited to interior work using existing attachment locations and will not involve new door installations, exterior work, or changes to building capacity and occupancy. The project is expected to take approximately nine months to complete, with a target end date of December 2027. These improvements are designed to benefit students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors by completing the coverage of the existing security system. The initiative is managed by the California State University Board of Trustees under the direction of the Planning, Design and Construction department.
