Candela VBeam Perfecta Service Agreement

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. Navy Medical Forces Atlantic intends to negotiate a one-time sole source contract with Candela Medical in Marlborough, MA for the Candela Service Agreement to support the government-owned VBeam Perfecta unit (serial number: 9914-0300-1244). Contractor must provide a service agreement for maintenance services in accordance with this Statement of Work. Maintenance services must include all replacement parts, components, on?site corrective repairs, 24?hour emergency service and routine preventive maintenance services to the government?owned equipment. Maintenance services must be provided on all systems, subsystem components, assemblies (i.e.: contractor responsible for total maintenance of entire system) and shall apply to hardware, firmware, and software, as appropriate, unless otherwise stated. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i). This notice will be distributed solely through the betaSAM.gov Website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the betaSAM site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The North American Classification System Code is 811219. Based on market research conducted and contacts made with knowledgeable individuals within the government it has been determined the Navy Medical Forces Atlantic requirement can only be provided by Candela Medical as they are the sole provider to provide the service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to this office by 0800 am, EST, 09 September 2021 by email to Regina Flowers, Contracting Officer, at regina.d.flowers.civ@mail.mil. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
