Full Description

The Air Force anticipates a sole source award to Advantor Systems Corporation for the purchase/service of the following: Replace the existing circa-1998 Advantor Security suite with a new Advantor SFXi system. The equipment to be replaced will be the CPU with a 17 inch LCD, card printer with latest Data card model, report printer with new laser jet printer, camcorder with digital camera and new UPS. Provide SFXi Badge Training and SFXi Access Control Programming Training. Provide and install six magnetic locks and card readers with integrated pin pad, and push-to-exit button on the doors. Provide and install two access control system panels and one power supply, provide all low voltage cabling and stub-up conduit, and provide and install wire from the Advantor control panel to the fire alarm panel. This is a Sole Source procurement, synopsis published for informational purposes only. No solicitation documents will be used or made available as a result of this notice. This proposed contract action is for procurement of an item for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 USC 2304(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. FAR 13.106-1, the proposed source is Advantor Systems Corporation, 12612 Challenger PKWY STE 300, Orlando FL 32826. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
