This opportunity is only available to local utility companies under a General Services Administration Utility Areawide Contract (a master blanket contract for public utility services) within the service territory for [STATE]. GSA/NCR seeks to obtain services from a local utility company to perform a project at the General Services Administration Facility located at 4600 Silver Hill Road Complex, Suitland, MD]. The precise scope of work will be issued in the solicitation documents, but the requirement will include, provide all supervision, design, calculations, labor, materials, and equipment for a design/build project to furnish and install carport mounted Utility-interactive Photovoltaic System with charging stations. The estimated total value of the entire Project is between $1 and $2 million GSA/NCR anticipates that it will require the local utility company to assemble and lead a multi-disciplinary team composed of architects, engineers, general contractors, trade contractors, specialty contractors, and/or other consultants in order to provide taxpayers with outstanding and cost effective services. GSA/NCR anticipates that the local utility company will perform design and construction services that will not only meet, but surpass, federal energy goals, including, but not limited to the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
