NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENTThe Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below:Item 1:GSIN: N1305 –Ammunition through 30mmDescription: Cartridge Calibre .338 Lapua Magnum Ball, 250 Grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail AmmunitionThe requirement is for the supply of Cartridge Calibre .338 Lapua Magnum 250 grain Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail (“Cart .338LM Ball 250gr FMJBT”) ammunition to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). The “Cart .338LM Ball 250gr FMJBT” ammunition will be used with the C14 and C14A1 Medium Range Sniper Weapon (MRSW), and will be used in both operations and training.Quantities: 470,000 cartridges, broken down as follows;- 75,000 cartridges deliverable to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn - Dundurn, Saskatchewan, as well as 75,000 cartridges deliverable to CFAD Angus - Borden, Ontario, on or before 30 December 2023- 40,000 cartridges deliverable to CFAD Dundurn - Dundurn, Saskatchewan, as well as 40,000 cartridges deliverable to CFAD Angus - Borden, Ontario, between 01 April and 30 August, in each of calendar years 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027.Unit of Issue: Each, per cartridge 1.
