CASE AND NOZZLE ASS

The Department of Defense, through the 421st Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify potential manufacturing sources for the Case, Nozzle Assembly (Part Number 9528M23G12, NSN 2840-01-240-3588PR) for the F110 engine. The requirement involves the procurement of two units and requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment necessary to manufacture, repair, test, preserve, package, and return completely serviceable units. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for supply chain management, logistics, parts forecasting, long-lead procurement, and addressing obsolescence issues. This action is currently in the Sources Sought phase under NAICS code 336413 (or 336412) to determine if the effort will be a competitive procurement or a small business set-aside. While this is currently a market research effort with no funds yet available, the eventual solicitation is expected to fall below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold and will be managed via Sam.gov, allowing for electronic responses.
