The Department of the Air Force, through the 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, plans to award a sole source contract for Catholic Priest Services at Arlington National Cemetery. This contract will be awarded to Goyko LLC, the only registered and approved service provider recognized by both the Archdiocese of Military Services and SAM.gov, making it the sole qualified entity capable of fulfilling this requirement. The decision is grounded in regulatory authority allowing sole source awards when only one responsible source is available, emphasizing that the Archdiocese permits contracts only with certified individuals rather than third-party vendors. Extensive market research was conducted to identify potential providers, but Goyko LLC remains the only approved and available source at this time. Although this notice is not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may submit capability statements, which the agency will evaluate to determine future competition feasibility. The government will continue monitoring the market to identify any new qualified providers to prevent restrictions in future procurements. All communications related to this acquisition can be directed to the designated Contract Specialist or Contracting Officer, with relevant information openly posted on the government’s acquisition platform.
