CBP#9772 HVAC Air Handling Unit (AHU) and Ductwork Cleaning Services

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking bids for a fixed-price, single lump sum subcontracting opportunity to provide HVAC air handling unit (AHU) and ductwork cleaning services at the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, New Jersey. The scope of work includes the thorough cleaning of 12 AHUs and 28 specified coils across the Kilmer and Edison dormitories, as well as the cleaning of associated supply, return, and outside-air ductwork. The contractor is responsible for installing and correcting access panels, performing filter replacements, and restoring all work areas to a safe condition. All work must be completed within 90 consecutive business days following a written Notice to Proceed. Award decisions will be based on overall best value, and bidders must complete a mandatory site visit and submit a bid bond guarantee of 20% for bids equal to or exceeding 25,000 dollars. Performance and payment bonds are also required for contracts of that value. The project is subject to various Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses, including Buy American requirements, Service Contract Labor Standards, and strict security and privacy protocols. Final acceptance is contingent upon a substantial completion inspection, the resolution of a punch list, and the submission of a final project report containing pre-cleaning documentation and photographs.
