Title: CCG Seal Cove Helipad Replacement
Location: Prince Rupert, BC
Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.
Two Phase Selection Process: This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition. The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation.
Work Description: The work involves, but not limited to the following:
- Excavation of removal of existing concrete surface, base, and subbase materials - Remove all organic matter and test soil for contaminants and dispose at proper location and grade the subgrade according to design drawings - Supply and placement of 450mm thick granular subbase over the subgrade. - Supply and Placement of 150mm thick granular base layer - Supply and Placement of 65mm hot asphalt and cast-in-placement concrete as per design drawings - Supply and installation of 1.52m high chain-link fence and 7.30m opening automated sliding gate Note: All Construction to be sequenced as per phasing drawing No 02038-C-09 in order to limit disruption to all ongoing helicopter operations at the site
Site Visit: There will be no scheduled site visit.
Delivery Date: The Contractor must perform and complete before December 31, 2022.
Estimated Value: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $500,001.00 and $1,000,000.00 (GST included).
