TWO PHASE SELECTION PROCESSThis is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. The work covered under this project at Howard’s Cove Harbour located in O’Leary, Prince Edward Island, consists of furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for the construction of a Berlin Wall on Structure 402.The work consist of, but is not limited to, the supply and installation of H-Piles, precast concretewall panels, steel tie-rods, concrete anchor blocks and precast concrete slab. The supply and installation of galvanized steel ladders, holdfasts, grab bars, wheel guards, as well as electrical improvements within the work area.Contract includes mobilization and demobilization all equipment necessary to make work progress for the entire contract, including environmental controls and all associated items in strict accordance with specifications and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and condition of this contract.Only items in the Unit Price Table will be measured for payment. All other work necessary to complete the Contract will be considered incidental to the project and will not be measured separately for payment.
