AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by August 1, 2024 at 2:00 PM EDT. All bids submitted after 2:00 PM EDT will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. The Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) has a requirement to recycle, through ship breaking, the CCGS Corporal McLaren M.M.V. The Contractor will be required to prepare the vessel for transportation, transport the vessel to the Approved Site and subsequently break and recycle the vessel in an efficient and environmentally responsible manner. The Contractor will have until October 1, 2024 to remove the vessel from the COVE in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and until February 21, 2025 to complete the Work. There is a mandatory vessel viewing associated with this requirement. The viewing will held on July 9, 2024, 11am at the COVE 27 Parker Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, B2Y 4T5, where the vessel is currently docked.
