CDE Fremont FEAST and Main Kitchen Replacement

The proposed project will include accessible repairs and improvements to the campus to meet current building codes and the replacement/addition of new kitchen equipment at the Fremont School for the Deaf campus as they have reached the end of their useful life. Work includes: • removing and replacing approx. 4,000 square ft of concrete walkways, replacing drainage grates, and other features around the campus for accessibility path of travel repairs; • replace the emergency generator; Install new concrete pad for propane storage with chain link fence; • renovate four existing restrooms to meet accessibility aspects of the building code and ADA obligations; • Remove old kitchen equipment and replace approximately 3 interior pass-through refrigeration units, four hot food cabinets, one refrigerator, three walk-in refrigerators, one walk in freezer, exterior grease trap, one rotary oven, add two convection ovens, and new walk-in refrigerator/freezer combo to the campus kitchens. • replace associated mechanical and electrical equipment and components to accommodate the new kitchen equipment.
