The elevators have required progressively more maintenance and have had an increase in outages the last few years. This is problematic, as this Courthouse requires elevators to serve the needs of our citizens and employees, some of who are disabled and require access per ADA regulations. As a result, a renovation of the elevators in both towers is required.
