Cemetery Landscape Maintenance Services

The City of Forsyth is soliciting proposals for comprehensive lawn and landscape maintenance services for three municipal cemeteries: Forsyth City Cemetery, Rest Haven Memorial Cemetery, and Monroe Hill Memorial Gardens. The selected contractor will provide all labor, equipment, and supervision for turf care, debris removal, plant bed maintenance, and hazard inspections. Bidders must provide pricing for two service options: a 26-visit bi-weekly schedule from January through December, and a 39-visit schedule featuring weekly visits from April through September and bi-weekly visits from October through March. Additionally, the contractor must ensure the grounds are fully maintained prior to Memorial Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. Proposals are due by October 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM EST, and must be delivered to City Hall in a sealed envelope containing three hard copies and one digital copy on a USB flash drive. Evaluation will be based on cost competitiveness, qualifications and experience of the firm and its key personnel, past performance references, and the proposed operational plan. Required submission documents include a company profile, resumes for account managers and supervisors, a detailed fee schedule for both visit options and as-needed services, a valid Georgia State Contractor or Business License, and certificates of insurance for Commercial General Liability and Workers' Compensation. Final selection will be made by the City of Forsyth City Council following an initial administrative evaluation.
