Savannah Convention Center Landscape Services

The Georgia World Congress Center Authority is soliciting proposals for comprehensive landscape services at the Savannah Convention Center in Savannah, Georgia. The scope of work includes general maintenance such as mowing, watering, fertilizing, weeding, spraying, edging, and pruning for the campus grounds and three sixth-floor terrace areas. Specific requirements include applying mulch or pine straw two to four inches deep at least twice per year and submitting annual soil samples to the University of Georgia Ag Services Lab every October. The contractor is responsible for providing monthly inspection reports and immediately notifying the owner of any deficiencies that could damage plant material or irrigation systems. The contract features an initial term of two years with three renewal options and follows a Net 30 payment schedule. Proposals are evaluated based on technical merit (70 percent), focusing on demonstrated experience, firm stability, personnel qualifications, and financial strength, and cost (30 percent). Eligible firms must have been engaged in related services for at least five consecutive years and provide local day-to-day management. A strict restriction of communication is in effect from the time of advertisement until the final award. Interested firms must submit one original hard copy and one USB drive by October 26, 2026, following a mandatory site visit on October 8, 2026.
