You must contact Adele Bosh in Purchasing to confirm your attendiance at this walk through. See Scope of Work below: Site Drainage Def. 79162 Location: Flint-Genesee Job Corps Center 2400 N. Saginaw Flint, MI 48505 Project: The central area of the campus has had a number of sidewalk projects that have reduced the grassed area. The result is an increased runoff that is trapped on sidewalks at various locations. This, in combination with the poor grading around the site causes water to pond. Scope of Work: Inspect the site to uncover all areas with inadequate drainage. At grassed areas where ponding occurs, re-grade to provide swales in order to drain the standing water to an inlet. At paved areas, install a section of slotted drain pipe into the pavement. The drain shall be connected to a nearby inlet or day lighted into a swale. This work should be performed by an experienced landscape contractor. General Conditions: No work may be started without a written Purchase Order issued by the Purchasing Department. All work to be coordinated through the Facilities Department. Contractors working at the Flint Genesee Job Corps Center must sign in and out each day at front desk. Contractors working at Flint Genesee Job Corps Center must record daily services completed and man hours utilized while on the job. Vehicles entering and exiting the Job Corps Center are subject to search. Work may not be scheduled when building is in operation. It is the responsibility of the contractor to insure tools and material are secured during work and at the end of each day. The Flint Genesee Job Corps Center may cancel project based on funding withdrawal. Note: The Flint-Genesee Job Corps Center is a smoke-free facility.
