This equipment is used for tissue analysis and needs to be calibrated annually to ensure accuracy. (4) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and not other supplies will satisfy agency requirements (5) The SmartCyclers are proprietary equipment from Cepheid and they are the only company authorized to conduct repairs or calibration. For service agreements (not including calibration) there are other companies authorized to resell the agreements but Cepheid still does all of the work. Based upon price comparison with similar services this price is fair and reasonable.
