Full Description

The Government intends to award on a sole source basis to Davis Systems (CAGE Code 438S7) to provide off-site part time software programmer support for the NSWC-PCD Hydrospace Laboratory, per attached justification and provisions. This is a FAR 13 procurement not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The Hydrospace Laboratory conducts hyperbaric testing of Diving and Life Support equipment. This service will continue the advancement of the software packages used in testing unmanned underwater breathing systems, underground emergency escape equipment, life-support systems for Navy aircraft, etc. An advanced understanding of Diving and Life Support systems and the research and development of newer systems is critical for software development.
