NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The United States Department of Labor, Office of Procurement Services (OPS), on behalf of the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), intends to enter into a sole source award with The Cerulli Associates, Inc., 699 Boylston Street, 11th Floor, Boston, MA 02116-2848 for the acquisition of Cerulli Associates reports. This proposed award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is being conducted under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) - FAR 6.302-1, which allows for other than full and open competition when "supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements..." This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The anticipated award date is March 11, 2013. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. There is no solicitation document. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
