Full Description

The contractor shall provide all services necessary for the Certified Airmask Repair Education (CARE)Class to be provided at the Murrysville plant located in Pittsburgh, PA. HQ AFRC at Robins AFB intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source contract Mine Safety Appliances Company for the services described in this notice. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (a), Only One Responsible Source (or a Limited Number). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement call for a total of 70 individuals to be trained in the CARE Class. Two individuals from each AFRC unit will be attending the course. The exact date of training will be determined at time of award. The following clauses are applicable to the subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-2, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5, 52.222-50, 52.232-33, 52.247-34 and DFAR 252.211-7003. The NAICS Code 339113. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) IAW DFARS 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission Payment Request (Mar 2007). Price Analysis will be done IAW FAR 15.404-1.
