The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone Small Business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB), 8(a) certified Small Business concerns, Woman-Owned Small Business concerns or Small Business concerns, or solicit Unrestricted. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990*, with a small business size standard $20.0M Million. (*To be considered small under the dredging NAICS code, a concern must perform 40% of volume dredged with its own equipment or equipment owned by another small dredging concern.) The estimated value of the procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000. Bid, payment and performance bonds will be required. The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking Interested Vendors with successful past performance, current relevant experience, personnel, equipment, capability and bonding capacity to perform mechanical dredging of the access channel and place spoils on CG Beach (waterborne equipment only). The work shall be located at the USCG Station Eatons Neck, Northport, NY. Pre- and Post Dredge Hydrographic Surveys shall be completed to confirm dredge amounts. See the attached chart for additional information. Permits do not allow for any travel over existing dunes, and no dredging is allowed after 31 March. The performance period is estimated to be 70 days.
