This is an amendment to Synopsis N68335-26-Q-1045, which was published on 13 January 2026 and closed on 28 January 2026.  The synopsis is hereby amended to include an additional Option quantity of ten (10) Clamp, Main Rotor Blade, part number FDC8252-15 in support of the NAVAIR CH-53K domestic program.  The new total quantity of this requirement is eighteen (18): three (3) base, two (2) option, and an additional ten (10) option for the domestic program, and three (3) base for the FMS Israel program.  The POC for this effort is also updated.

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to solicit and award a Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Davis Aircraft Products Co. Inc. (CAGE Code 98313) for the purchase of Clamp, Main Rotor Blade, part number FDC8252-15 for a quantity of three (3) in the base, two (2) in the option, and an additional ten (10) in the option in support of the NAVAIR CH-53K Domestic Program, and a quantity of three (3) Clamp, Main Rotor Blade, part number FDC8252-15 in the base in support of CH-53K Foreign Military Sales Program Israel, Case IS-P-SCN, for maintenance operations at the O-Level of maintenance for the CH-53K Aircraft.   


The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" for this action. Davis Aircraft Products Co. Inc, as the sole developer, designer, and manufacturer of the Clamp, Main Rotor Blade, part number FDC8252-15, owns the proprietary data and as such is the only source with the knowledge and expertise necessary to manufacture the Clamp, Main Rotor Blade, part number FDC8252-15.  The Government does not have the technical data or equipment to obtain this item from an alternate source.

The Government will consider all information received prior to the closing date of this notice.  A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  The Government will not pay for any responses received.  There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the efforts mentioned above.
