Request for Information (RFI)
Corrosion Control Cart and Electric Hydraulic Power Supply
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ is soliciting information and comments from industry and other interested parties. NAWCAD Lakehurst is requesting vendor sources with the capability to manufacture, assemble, and produce:
- Five (5) Corrosion Control Cart, Small Units (P/N: 051497-100, NSN: 4920-01-536-1924)
- One (1) Electric Hydraulic Power Supply (P/N: 040499-100, NSN: 4920-01-523-5919)
This requirement supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for the Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) E-2D Program (FMS Case: JA-P-CVT) and the France E-2D Program (FMS Cases: FR-P-SBM and FR-P-GXM).
THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA TO ALLOW FOR A FULL AND OPEN COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.
The Government is seeking industry input to assist in identifying features and approaches to meet the general requirements described above. Please note that the Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this RFI.
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.

- Quality Assurance: Overview of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100), certifications, inspection capabilities, and qualification protocols.
- Additional Data: Any technical considerations, risks, or commercial practices that would assist the Government in its acquisition strategy.
Submission Instructions:
All interested parties must submit written responses via electronic mail to Desiree Pendleton at desiree.i.pendleton.civ@us.navy.mil no later than at 9/18/2026, 12:00 PM EST. The Navy does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Proprietary data MUST be clearly marked "PROPRIETARY" on a page-by-page basis and will be safeguarded in accordance with applicable Federal and Navy regulations. The Navy will not be liable for proprietary information not properly identified. Responses will not be returned, and respondents will not receive individual evaluation results. Failure to respond to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future competitive solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on SAM.gov at https://sam.gov. It is the potential vendor's responsibility to monitor this site for future notices.
