The Fraser Valley Regional District is seeking qualified environmental consultants to deliver environmental assessment, mitigation planning, and onsite monitoring services for the replacement of two floating boardwalk segments at Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park in Rosedale, British Columbia. The project involves removing and replacing approximately 66 metres of existing floating walkway—Segments 2 and 3—in the same location and footprint, with connections to the existing land-based ramps at either end. Instream work will be restricted to the removal of the current structure and installation of the new floating sections, with all construction access, staging, and material deliveries confined to established trails and previously disturbed upland areas to minimize ecological disruption.
