Check Point Enterprise Premium Support

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for brand name only, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PC-09-8-RM5 and is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-30. The Government anticipates awarding one firm fixed price purchase order for this item. The following factors will be used to evaluate quotes and are listed in order of importance: (1) Compliance to brand name and part number (2) Price Technical Compliance Provide documentation that shows the product offered is the brand name and part number required. The brand name justification is attached as required by FAR 5.102(a)(6) and FAR 13.106-1(b). This acquisition is for the one year renwal of Check Point Enterprise Premium Support. Renewal of this software shall deliver all the benefits of Enterprise Software Subscription with comprehensive, 7x24 unlimited supports. With online tools, global service centers, and committed 30 minute response time, the Peace Corps can count on Check Point to resolve mission-critical issues quickly and efficiently. Service benefits include: - Access critical hot fixes, service packs, and major upgrades with Software Subscription - Protect your business with unlimited, comprehensive support from experience engineers - Ensure mission-critical support with 7x24 support and 30 minute committed response - Peace of mind with global, service and efficient support processes - Reduce support time and costs with Advance Access to Secure Knowledge - Next day delivery Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing, via e-mail, to Mr. Reginald Moore, Contract Specialist, Phone (202) 692-1625, rmoore@peacecorp.gov, by 12:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on June 5, 2009. Interested organizations should submit a quotation by the due date, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement and which describes their capability of supplying the requirement. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit their qualifications by the due date which may be considered by the agency. Firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (www.ccr.gov) prior to award of any contracts or agreements.
