Market research and investigation is being conducted by the DLA Troop Support, Clothing and Textiles Directorate for domestic production of a Chemical and Oil Protective Glove, MIL-G-87066A, a nitrile rubber glove with cotton based flocking. Any method of cotton based flocking is likely to be acceptable so long as it meets the end user needs. The annual requirement for these gloves is 198,000 pairs. Information is required to determine if the domestic availability will provide the quantity and quality necessary to meet its requirements: 1) Identify all places of performance; 2) the total monthly and yearly maximum production capacity of the facility; 3) the minimum or desired monthly and yearly quantities you would produce; 4) the production lead-time needed to start production; and 5) 12 pair of size 10.
