Full Description
The Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project (Chena Project) has one shop floor holding tank that is not connected to a leach field and must be pumped to be emptied. The holding tank water will either be pumped directly from the shop floor holding tank or from plastic totes situated in the shop next to the drain in a heated space. The holding tank contents will be pumped, transported, and disposed under this contract. The Chena Project is located 3800 Laurance Road, North Pole, Alaska, approximately 18 miles east of Fairbanks, Alaska.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, parts and materials, as necessary, for the pumping and disposal of shop tank contents. Test results for the holding tank contents are shown in the Holding Tank Test Sample Analysis. The Contractor is solely responsible for following any AKDEC and Federal regulations as they pertain to proper disposal of the holding tank contents. The contractor shall possess all required licenses and permits for transporting the holding tank contents. See RFQ for more details.
