The Municipality of the District of Chester (MODC) invites bids for the supply and construction of a new collection system, wastewater treatment plant, and outfall to be located at 5320 Lighthouse Route, Chester Basin, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. Full project details are provided in the posted solicitation documents.The successful Proponent shall enter into the attached contract with MODC. MODC intends to conclude negotiations and finalize an agreement with the top-ranked proponent within 30 days commencing from the date MODC provides notification of project Award. Please note that a a fully executed contract and purchase order are required prior to project kick-off. Notice to BiddersMODC has adopted Abuse Prevention Policy P-117 (safe workplace), which sets expectations for conduct of MODC staff and agents, including contractors working at KMEMC. It requires respectful interactions with MODC staff, customers, contractors, and the public.By submitting a proposal, Bidders agree to comply with Policy P-117. Failure to do so may result in sanctions, up to and including contract termination for cause.
