This advertisement is to serve as public notice. The New York State Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) has been approved to do a 5-year contract with NYS Children's Alliance Inc for MDC/ CAC training, technical assistance and support. The New York State Children’s Alliance Inc. (NYSCA) is the only membership organization in New York State, who has achieved full accreditation since 2011 by the National Children’s Alliance (NCA). NYSCA is a statewide resource center for New York State MDT/CACs. NYSCA will support the state’s multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) and child advocacy centers (CACs) (MDT/CACs) efforts to provide a community-based approach, established from the onset of the investigation, design to protect children further and/or future abuse and to strategically target services and interventions by all of the MDT member agencies that would be involved with the investigation, treatment, management and possible prosecution. NYSCA is the liaison and facilitator for the collection of data and is responsible for generating reports mandated by the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). MDT/CACs currently provide services in sixty-one out of New York State’s sixty-two counties. Reason for advertising exemption: Sole Source Award recipient: NYS Children's Alliance Inc.
