The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) invites prospective bidders to review and respond to the attached Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 26C345001 entitled, "CHP Hayward Area office - Automatic Gate and Roll-Up Door Maintenance Services." When preparing and submitting a bid, compliance with the instructions found herein is imperative. The DVBE participation requirement has been waived by CHP for this solicitation. It is mandatory that you view job site before submitting a bid. A mandatory walk- through will be held on May 28, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the CHP Hayward Area office located at 25100 Santa Clara St., Hayward, CA 94544. A sign-in sheet will be provided at the walk-through. All prospective bidders must sign-in prior to the start of the walk-through. PLEASE BE ADVISED: This site is currently considered a construction zone. Vendors attending the mandatory bid walk are required to bring and wear their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) hard hats and vests.
