To All Interested Contractors: This is a subcontracting opportunity with Management & Training Corporation (MTC), operator of the Hawaii and Maui Job Corps Centers. MTC is requesting bids for services to waterproof our cistern. Please provide a price quote for the following Scope of Work: - 1) Waterproof cistern (approximately 800 sq. ft.) a. Waterproofing product must be SNF-61 Certified for use in potable water, LEED-compliant, and designed for application on concrete and masonry i. Miracote's MiraFlex Membrane C, or equivalent is recommended b. Prep and clean all surfaces to insure degreased, open concrete porosity c. Prime all concrete surfaces for application of waterproofing product according to product manufacturer's specification d. Apply product-saturated reinforcement fabric to all 90-degree corners and cracks e. Two coats of product will be applied to all interior concrete surfaces and allowed 48-hours to cure f. Provide one-year, 100% guarantee/warranty against leaks in writing from Contractor Services are to be performed at: Maui Job Corps Center 500 Ike Drive Makawao, HI 96768 It is the Contractor's responsibility to conduct a site visit and verify the Scope of Work prior to submitting a bid.
