Sealed proposals for the Public Works Facility Improvement Project for the City of Auburn will be received by email or delivery to Department of Engineering Services, Memorial City Hall, 24 South Street, Auburn, New York 13021, until 11:00 AM local time, on Friday October 30, 2026. The full request for proposals may be obtained through the City of Auburn's website at www.auburnny.gov. under the Bids and RFP's tab. The City of Auburn reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all proposal packets. The City of Auburn is exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all materials, equipment and supplies sold to the City of Auburn pursuant to this Contract. Any questions associated with this Request for Proposals shall be directed to Geno Franczek, Department of Engineering Services, Junior Engineer, gfranczek@auburnny.gov or 315-255-4135. The City of Auburn is seeking proposals from qualified Engineering and/or Architectural (A/E) firms licensed to practice in the State of New York to provide professional consulting services for the evaluation, survey, industrial hygiene study, geotechnical evaluation, planning, and preliminary design of improvements to the City's Public Works Facility. In addition to these initial services, the City will also be reviewing qualifications of the A/E firms ability to complete 100% design, bidding services, and design services through construction as subsequent phases of this work will be required. The selected consultant will assist the City in developing a comprehensive facility improvement strategy that aligns with applicable state funding requirements and maximizes eligibility for reimbursement programs, including funding available through the Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS), State Touring Routes (STR), and other applicable state and federal funding sources. There will be a non-mandatory site walkthrough meeting for interested A/E Consulting Firms responding to the DPW RFP Master Plan project from 10:00am to 12:00pm on October 15th.
