The City’s Water & Wastewater team invites responses from qualified suppliers to provide emergency and planned construction and repair services for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. The Supplier shall provide all labour, supervision, equipment, tools, vehicles, and materials required to complete repair, replacement, and construction activities in compliance with the Deliverables and all applicable legislation and safety standards. Work must be performed by qualified personnel using maintained equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations. The scope generally excludes major capital projects and work inside water and wastewater facilities but may include minor capital work and field fit design tasks. A core requirement of this contract is supporting ongoing municipal operations. The Supplier must understand operational challenges and regulatory requirements, maintain system reliability, minimize service interruptions, and coordinate activities with City staff. The Supplier must adapt to field conditions, communicates promptly regarding scheduling and issues affecting system performance, and troubleshoot infrastructure by diagnosing problems, determining root causes, recommending solutions, and completing corrective repairs.
