The City is seeking to select up to three (3) experienced and qualified engineering consulting firms to provide services on an as-needed basis for modifications and upgrades of existing Calgary Transit Communications Systems, as well as on-site technical support to the maintenance and repair of the systems. These services may also include system assurance and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) engineering. The purpose of this RFSO is to give The City the ability to obtain timely and efficient consultant assistance to supplement The City’s design, operations, and maintenance forces. Additionally, the Consultant may be requested to analyze existing system performance data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify operational weaknesses and provide technical recommendations to support internal project evaluation and decision-making.
