Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of street and drainage improvements to Virgina Street in the City of Nashville, Georgia until 11:00A.M. (local time), Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at which time bids will be opened and read. This project shall be funded with the county¿s FY 2024 and FY 2025 Local Maintenance & Improvements Grant Funds.
The meeting will be held at City of Nashville City Hall and will be opened to the public. Proposals can be mailed or delivered to the attention of Amanda Thacker City Clerk for the City of Nashville, 405 West Washington Ave, P.O Box 495, City of Nashville, Georgia 31639. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. The City of Nashville City Council may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Street and Drainage Improvements to Virgina Street. (Total 0.145 Miles)
All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Nashville, GA in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Nashville. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
