The City of Salmon Arm (City) is situated between the peaceful shores of Shuswap Lake and beautiful surrounding mountains and hills. It is comprised of a year-round population base of approximately 20,000 people and offers an incredible diversity of economic and tourism-related amenities. The City maintains over 60 facilities and buildings valued at almost $120 million dollars.The City of Salmon Arm is looking to have a qualified proponent conduct a comprehensive Facility Inventory Assessment and Asset Assessment encompassing five (5) key municipal properties: ROGERS Rink, the SASCU Recreation Centre, City Hall, the Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and the Wastewater Pollution Control Centre (WPCC). This assessment provides a detailed evaluation of each facility’s current condition, and long-term maintenance and capital needs. The objective of this project is to create an asset inventory within the City’s existing Asset Management software and to create a lifecycle assessment for each facility that includes the long-term maintenance and capital needs in support of strategic asset management decision making.
