The General Contractor constructs the concrete foundation and the lower support pipe per those sealed drawings. The Architect’s certification excludes those delegated-design elements. Description of the Work: The Project consists of installing the refurbished historic “Texas” sign on a new steel support pipe set on a masonry-veneer base within a new corner plaza at W. Houston St. and S. Crockett St. The Work includes the sealed concrete sign-support foundation (an approximately 8′×8′ mat on a drilled pier) and the 36 in. dia. lower steel support pipe, the masonry-veneer base (approximately 6′-10″ square), seat walls and planters, hardscape (precast concrete unit pavers), ADA-compliant curb ramps and sidewalks, landscape hardscape, site restoration, and site electrical for sign illumination
